Chris Riddle Owner of 6R Upland Kennels is a Dog Breeder and Professional Trainer who helps clients get their dogs ready to become great hunting companions. Prior to establishing his breeding and training business Chris spent 25 years in the food business, he spent evenings and weekends training clients dogs, but his strong love for hunting brought him back to his true love raising and training dogs. Chris Said (The first time I watched my uncle Charlie’s shorthair slam on point I told myself I have to own one, it only took 18 more years). Chris spent 15 years training dogs with Darrel Keenan who has 55 years experience as a breeder and trainer. Chris specializes in pointing breeds and guides on over 20,000 acres of land in central Iowa. Chris has given training seminars all over the Midwest and seminar goers say it is like talking to a long time friend when you hear and talk with Chris. The whole family hunts and youth hunts around the Riddle house in the early years were a real treat, everyone including the Maltese dog Chase joined in on the hunts, Chris has spent the last 13 years breeding and training dogs on his own and now enjoys doing this as a full time job. He knows with out the help of his Faith, Family, and the friendships he has developed this dream come true would not be possible.
